2nd May 2025 – ‘The Great Britain XVII’
Day 7 of ‘The Great Britain XVII’ running from Inverness to Newcastle, hauled by LNER A1 No.60163 ‘Tornado’ from Inverness to Edinburgh. WCRC Class 47 832 took the train from Edinburgh to Newcastle, replacing SR BoB No.34067 which had failed. Seen crossing Culloden Viaduct, Dalwhinnie, Jamestown Viaduct, North Queensferry Station and Grantshouse.
