2026 Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Steam Gala Release

We’re thrilled to announce the release of our latest production, showcasing the recent Keighley & Worth Valley Railway 2026 Steam Gala, capturing all the action from the four-day event held in March 2026.

The 2026 Steam Gala featured an impressive lineup of nine steam locomotives, both visiting and from the home fleet.

Highlights include:​

• GWR 5029 ‘Nunney Castle’: making its first appearance at a heritage railway since returning to steam in 2025. Now owned by Locomotive Services Limited (LSL) the locomotive made a rare appearance away from hauling mainline charters across the UK.
• SR 34046 ‘Braunton’: making its debut appearance at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, ‘Braunton’ is also based at LSL, Crewe and too can be commonly be found hauling mainline charters across the UK.
• LMS Black Five No.45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’: normally found hauling ‘The Jacobite’ in Scotland, 45407 is a regular visitor to the railway, last visiting in 2023.

Our new 88 minute production features footage from the 4 day event, including early morning shed scenes, lineside access, night scenes, aerial videography and much more. A mixture of express, passenger, vintage and goods trains are featured.
