Description
The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, one of the few complete branch lines in the UK, held several successful events and carried thousands of passengers along the picturesque five-mile route throughout 2025. A variety of new and returning events took place during the year, including the annual Steam Gala, the Beer and Music Festival, ‘The Elf Explorer’, and more.

KWVR-owned No.45212 made its final appearance before withdrawal for overhaul, including kick-starting the ‘Railway 200’ celebrations by participating in the national New Year Whistle-Up at Haworth. LMS 5MT No.44932 once again visited during the winter months, hauling services including ‘The Elf Explorer’.
