We’re digging into our archives as our new ‘Legends of Steam’ series will showcase a specific group of locomotives at heritage railways and hauling mainline charters from across the UK, working hard over the past 17 years.
LMS Jubilee Class
The LMS Jubilee Class is a class of steam locomotive designed for main line passenger work. A total of 191 locomotives were built between 1934 and 1936, with just four of the original engines surviving into preservation.
This product will feature the following locomotives, seen both at heritage railways and hauling mainline charters across the UK:
– 45596 ‘Bahamas’
– 45690 ‘Leander’
– 45699 ‘Galatea’
