LMS Rebuilt Royal Scot Class
The LMS Royal Scot Class is a class of 4-6-0 express passenger locomotive introduced in 1927. A total of 70 locomotives were built between 1934 and 1936, with just two of the rebuilt locomotives surviving into preservation. LMS No.46100 ‘Royal Scot’
Built in 1927 as the first of its class by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow, ‘Royal Scot’ is now owned by Locomotive Services Limited (LSL) and based at Crewe. No.46100 can often be seen hauling mainline charters and visiting heritage railways. ‘Royal Scot’ is included at the West Somerset Railway, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, and the East Lancashire Railway.

LMS No.46115 ‘Scots Guardsman’
Built in 1927 by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow, ‘Scots Guardsman’ is now owned by the West Coast Railway Company and based at Carnforth. No.46115 can often be found hauling mainline charters across the UK. Footage is included of ‘Scots Guardsman’ visiting the Severn Valley Railway in 2025.
