Day 7 of the nine day tour, ‘The Great Britain XVI’ running from Edinburgh to Liverpool Lime Street, hauled by LMS 5MT No.44871 and LMS 5MT No.45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’ from Edinburgh to Carlisle, seen passing Linhouse Viaduct, Wamphray and Castlemilk. SR BoB No.34067 ‘Tangmere’ hauled the train from Carlisle to Liverpool Lime Street, passing Bessygill and Garstang.
