West Somerset Railway’s 50th Anniversary Gala 🆕
2026 marked the 50th anniversary since the West Somerset Railway first operated passenger services to Blue Anchor in 1976. Over the May Day Bank Holiday the railway hosted a four day steam gala to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
Now available to pre-order is our upcoming event DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download showcasing footage from across the four day event.
Highlights include:
– Five visiting locomotives including LNER A4 No.60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’, Bagnall No.2996 ‘Victor’ and GWR No.3850.
– Triple headed Great Western Manor locomotives
– Double headed services, goods trains and more.
