This comprehensive production captures the 2025 nine-day steam-hauled tour across England, Scotland, and Wales. Featuring over 65 locations, it showcases the journey from the south coast to the Scottish Highlands. The tour includes rare routes and is hauled by notable locomotives such as LMS 5MT No.45212, LMS 5MT No.45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’, LNER A1 No.60163 ‘Tornado’, SR MN No.35028 ‘Clan Line’, and SR BoB No.34067 ‘Tangmere’.
The film includes multiple camera angles, aerial footage, animated route maps, location titles, and gradient profiles. A brief commentary provides context throughout the 71-minute runtime. Contributions from YouTubers ‘The Southener’ and ‘Transport of Yesteryear Through the Lens’ enhance the viewing experience.
