Steaming Around Britain gone international
For the first time in 18 years, our popular end of year reviews will feature steam action from outside of the UK. In February 2024, we visited the Harz Railway in Germany. Tackling the steep gradients to the summit of the Brocken, we’ve included a separate chapter featuring the powerful 2-10-2 tank locomotives running between Wernigerode and the Brocken Summit.
Footage from the Harz is featured on both ‘Steaming Around Britain’ and ‘From The Air: 2024 Review’, both are included as separate chapters so the content can be watched independently of the UK footage.
