NER P3 No.2392 passes a snowy Beck Hole at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, taken during a photo charter on the 29th November 2023.
Steam locomotive P3 No.2392 was built at Darlington Works in 1923 for heavy freight work, spending its career hauling coal trains across the North East before being withdrawn from British Railways service in 1967. Saved by the North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group, it was restored to working order and now operates on heritage railways, most notably the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
